United Way Gala

The annual United Way Gala was held this past Thursday at the Hope Country Club.  A good crowd turned out for the event.   Those present enjoyed food catered by Amigo Juan’s and also enjoyed seeing some of their peers honored.  Janet Choate of Farmers Bank & Trust was named the “Paul Henley Volunteer of the Year” and the “Man and Woman of the Year” were Brian Lee and Joan Hardee of First National Bank of Tom Bean.  Funds raised by the United Way benefit 12 agencies that serve our community.
