PRESCOTT — Walmart/Sam’s Club Facility #318 in Arkadelphia has awarded $500 to Hamilton Haven through the Local Community Grants program.

Walmart’s Local Community Grants program allows facilities to provide funding directly to local organizations.

“We are pleased that the Arkadelphia Walmart store recognizes the importance of our mission,” said Hamilton Haven Executive Director Michele Hamilton Rhodes. “Our team remains committed to serving displaced families.”

Hamilton Haven Public Relations Coordinator Nathan Tidwell said this is the first award they’ve received from the Arkadelphia store.

“Clark is one of our core service counties,” Tidwell said. “We want the residents of Clark County to know we are available for them.”

Hamilton Haven opened in April 2020 and provides emergency housing to temporarily displaced families and individuals.
