Lady in Green at WSP

WASHINGTON – Historic Washington State Park will feature the work of a current Hempstead County artist every two months as part of the “Brushstrokes from the Heart” exhibit at the 1874 Courthouse Visitor Center, 103 Franklin St., Washington. The exhibit is free and open to the public daily, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The work of artists from 19th-century to present-day Washington and Hempstead County will be showcased. Artwork by Terri Perkins of Hope will be on display through the end of November, followed by works from Jenny Delony Rice, Mary Carrigan, Carrie Carruth, Effie Anderson Smith, Helen Bittick and Ann Bittick.
