Curry’s Oct. business of month

PRESCOTT – Congratulations to Curry’s Community Outreach on being named the Prescott-Nevada County Chamber of Commerce October Business of the Month.

Curry’s Community Outreach is operated by Rev. Ivory Curry and a team of dedicated volunteers. The outreach opened their doors in their current location at 606 Greenlawn in January of 2020 and have been providing a community feed to the Prescott citizens on the 4^th Saturday of each month since. Curry’s Community Outreach also provides an avenue for speakers to come and talk with young people about bullying, mental health, drug abuse and many other issues. Along with helping our youth this outreach hosts an annual toy drive for the Christmas holiday, an annual appreciation banquet, and is involved in many community outreach activities throughout the year.

Curry’s Outreach will host their Annual Awards Banquet this year on Saturday, November 25th at 5pm at the Prescott Jr. High Cafeteria.
