Registration for giving tree under way

PRESCOTT – Registration for the Prescott-Nevada County Chamber of Commerce’s Giving Tree program starts today and runs through Nov. 6.

This is for school age children who need clothes and other essentials. Registration must be done in person at the Chamber office, 125 E. Main. Only 20 families will be accepted. Others will be shared with organizations looking to help during the holiday season.

Those wanting to help need to visit the Chamber office Nov. 13-21 to pick a tag and buy clothes and essentials for the child or children selected. The items bought need to be returned to the Chamber no later than Dec. 4.
