DAR Holds Meeting in Washington

The John Cain Chapter of DAR met October 12 in Old Washington at the S.A.R.A.(Southwest Arkansas Resource Archives) library.  Malissa Nesbitt, Archives Director, gave a short history of the library and gave the group a tour of the facility.  Malissa talked about the free research cards that are available so anyone can use the library.  The library is housed in what was once the Washington School.  Malissa is  pictured on the front row on the far left.  Seven members were present.  The regular meeting was held after the tour in the library room.
