Postal holiday deadlines set

HOPE/PRESCOTT – With the holidays upon us, it’s time to think about getting those gifts to distant friends and relatives.

The US Postal Service (USPS) has released the best times to send packages to make sure they arrive on time. For the ground advantage, items should be mailed by Dec. 16. For priority mail, the deadline is Dec. 18 and for those who wait till the last minute, priority mail express can be done by Dec. 20.
