Ricky White

Mr. Ricky White, age 67 of Hope, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday November 22, 2023, at his home. Ricky was born on December 14, 1955, to Charles Lynn and Vivan Della White in Magnolia, Arkansas. He was a retired auto mechanic. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, sisters and wife Sharon Cornelius White.

Ricky had many hobbies which included hunting, fishing and going to car shows. He was a great mechanic and could fix anything. Ricky loved helping the boys on their hot rods, but he really loved his 65 Chevy Malibu SS. He was a member of the local Plow Boy Car Club and made yearly trips to Cruisin The Coast in Mississippi with his son Shane and grandson Hunter. He loved to fish and was one of the best crappie fishermen around next to his beloved wife Sharon. Hunting was also his passion which he loved to teach all his kids how to shoot a gun and hunt. Ricky will be missed terribly by many but especially his children and grandchildren. He was our PaPa and we loved him just the way he was.

Survivors include, two sons, Shane White (Tammy) Hope, Arkansas, Chad Cornelius, Little Rock, Arkansas, two daughters, Tambra Childres (Don) Gurdon, Arkansas, Leslie Cornelius Larkspur, California, five grandchildren, Hunter Johnson (Lindsey), Brant Cornelius, Brooke Cornelius, Dillion White, McKenzie White, one great-grandchild, Della Johnson, numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

No public visitation will be held.

Graveside service will be 2:00pm on Saturday November 25, 2023, at Memory Gardens with Bro. Joe David Key officiating. Burial to follow. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of BRAZZEL/Oakcrest The Funeral Home of Hope. Online condolences: www.brazzelfuneralhomes.com
