Hope Christmas Parade

The Hope/Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade had a perfect night for a Christmas celebration Monday (12-4).  Temperatures were in the high 40’s at parade time so there was a Christmas chill in the air without the weather being too cold to enjoy the event.  The parade was led by law enforcement and first responders and then settled in with a variety of floats, decorated cars, and dignitaries.  The Hope High band provided excellent Christmas music at the rear of the parade.  Following the parade, Santa and Mrs. Claus and Mayor Don Still presided over the Christmas Tree Lighting.
