November Weather in Hope Colder, Dryer Than Normal

November in Hope was dryer and colder than normal according to weather statistics from the official weather reporting station at the Southwest Research and Extension Center just east of Hope.

November saw 3.36 inches of rain fall in Hope.  That compares to average rainfall of 5.11 inches.  This November was down 1.75 inches in rainfall; however, the year to date rainfall received is still up over normal.  Normal rainfall is 49.09 inches at the end of November but Hope has received 57.01 inches as of November 30th.

The average air temperature for November was almost 7 degrees lower than normal.   The average air temperature is 52.90 degrees; however, the average air temperature for November was 46 degrees.

The lowest temperature for November was 27 recorded on November 27th and 28th.  The highest temperature was 81 recorded on November 8th.  There were five nights with lows in the 20’s and 10 nights with lows in the 30’s.
