Breakfast with Santa Saturday

PRESCOTT – It’s been a Christmas tradition in Prescott every December for the Prescott-Nevada County Chamber of Commerce to host Breakfast with Santa.

This has been a holiday staple for more than 20 years in Prescott and has brought joy to children of Prescott and Nevada County every year. This year’s Breakfast with Santa will be from 9-11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, at the Potlatch Building at the Nevada County Fairgrounds, as usual. Admission is a can of food per person, with the food being donated to the local food bank.

For the most part, there aren’t any changes to the event. Santa will be on hand to visit with children and find out what they want for Christmas. Pictures with Santa will be $3 each. There will also be the snowball toss, cookie decorating, a station to write letters to Santa, cookie decorating and Bingo – an annual  favorite as winners get to select toys.

Breakfast will also be served and this year it will be donated by Holcim.

The doors open at 9 a.m. Saturday morning.
