Gary Gathright Leads the Texarkana Symphony Orchestra in “Sleigh Ride”

You may have followed our coverage of Gary Gathright’s effort to raise money and win the chance to direct the Texarkana Symphony Orchestra for a selection at their annual “Christmas at the Perot” concert earlier this month.  Gary won the contest and led the symphony in “Sleigh Ride” at the annual concert.  The effort by Gary and his competitors raised $94,000 for the symphony.  For those of us that remember Gary as the drum major of the Hope Super Band, we thought he would do a great job…and he did!
