Hope Kiwanis Club Has Busy December

The Hope Kiwanis Club has had a busy and productive month.  The club heard a program from Carter Wilcox who has been raising money to help every Clinton Primary student to get a book at the Scholastic Book Fair.  The Kiwanis Club presented $500 to Carter for his program  Shown with Kiwanis President Jimmy Courtney is Carter and his mom Kelly Burns.

The Kiwanis Club presented $250 to Jimmy Courtney (who is a Lieutenant at the Hope Police Department) for the department’s Santa Cop program.

The club presented a gift to their server Ester Solis in appreciation of her outstanding service this year.  Ester is always smiling, always helpful, and does a wonderful job.  The Kiwanis Club thanks her for her fine service and friendship!

In keeping with the season, the club heard from Daniel Bramlett of First Baptist Church who brought a program on Christmas.

The club will not meet December 26th.
