Hope Kiwanis Club Hears From Magnet Coordinators of Hope Public Schools


The Hope Kiwanis Club heard from several of the Magnet coordinators at the Hope Public Schools on Tuesday January 30th. These included High School Magnet Coordinator Heather Flowers, Home School Advisors Kayla Jones and Anna Gillingham, Middle School Magnet Coordinator Olga Trotter, and Elementary Magnet Coordinator Zac Hoglund.
The Hope Public Schools received a Federal Magnet Schools Assistance Program grant in the amount of $15 million dollars over a five year period. The grant was awarded in 2022. The grant transforms each campus into a magnet school. The grant is adding a multitude of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math curricula to all students from Pre-K through graduation.
