HPD makes two felony arrests

On Monday, January 29th, 2024, at approximately 8:31pm, Officers with the Hope Police Department arrested David Coile Jr., 40 of Hope, AR. Mr. Coile was arrested in the 500 block of
North Hervey Street and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Mr. Coile was taken the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for
a first court appearance.

On Tuesday, January 30th, 2024, at approximately 9:00am, Officers with the Hope Police Department arrested Keith Brown, 23 of Hope, AR. Mr. Brown was arrested in the 500 block of
Dairy Street and charged with Domestic Battery 3rd Degree (two counts) and Interference with Emergency Communications. Mr. Brown was taken the Hempstead County Detention Facility
and held for a first court appearance.
