Hope Piranhas raising funds in the off-season for meet fees, registration, equipment, and The Junior Olympics
The Hope Piranhas are working hard during their off season to raise funds to help cover the cost of meets, registration, equipment, and the Junior Olympics that will be held in North Carolina this year. The fundraising committee has kicked off their efforts selling Super Bowl squares going on sale today. The team has a bake sale scheduled for 2/19-2/23 and many more events planned over the next few months. Last year 8 swimmers qualified for the Junior Olympics. 4 swimmers made the trip to Des Moines, Iowa. All 4 swimmers brought home medals from the Junior Olympic Games racing against mostly year-round swimmers from all across the United States. The team also brought home the 1st place trophy for the summer-only, small teams division at the SASA Championship.
These kids work hard all summer long! There is a lot of talent on this team. We appreciate our community backing these kids and their hard work! We are looking to defend our title this year at SASA and have ALL of our JO qualifying kids join Team Arkansas at the Junior Olympics this summer! Please consider supporting our fantastic swim team!
