A Watermelon Production grower meeting was held Tuesday, February 20th from 5-8 p.m. at the Hempstead County Cooperative Extension Service office at 1800 East Third. U of A Agriculture specialists addressed topics of interest of smaller-acreage watermelon producers. These included disease and insect management, weed control, and nuisance wildlife control.
