HCHS to discuss eclipse

WASHINGTON – Did you know there have only been two total solar eclipses to have crossed the state of Arkansas since 1800? Come learn about this and other historic solar eclipses that took place throughout American history in the 19th century with Historic Washington State Park Curator Josh Williams. Make plans to see that total solar eclipse in our area on Monday, April 8, 2024.
The Hempstead County Historical Society will meet on Tuesday evening February 27, 2024 at the Presbyterian Church in Washington, Arkansas at 7pm. Everyone is welcome.
