Arbor Day proclamation signed

PRESCOTT – Prescott Mayor Terry Oliver signed an Arbor Day proclamation recently.

Prescott was named a 2023 Tree City by the Arbor Day Foundation. This was done as the city met the four requirements set by the foundation to be a Tree City. They are: maintaining a tree board or commission; having a tree care ordinance; dedicating an annual forestry budget; and signing an Arbor Day proclamation.
