Hope Tourism Commission

The Hope Tourism Commission met in the City Hall Boardroom on Tuesday (3-12). After reviewing and approving the minutes, revenue, and expenses, the items considered permits and payments.   Only two businesses were two months behind, Two Crumbs and Big Mac’s BBQ. Certified letters will be sent out on the 13th.
The ad for the progress edition of SWARK was talked about and approved.
Interstate mowing bids were discussed with the staff recommending Procut, which will be $6,200 for the first mowing and $3,800 after that.
Weather permitting, the Deborah McMaster Memorial softball/baseball tournament will be held as will the Jonquil Festival.
For the eclipse April 8th, everything is planned and should be ready to go.
Train Day is on May 4th and is now over in vendors.
