Solar Express Downtown Events

Plenty of Hope residents and visitors headed to downtown Hope Saturday for the “Solar Express” activities.  Many of the merchants were open with special “solar eclipse sales” while vendors were also in the downtown area.  A big part of the event was music with Jacob Flores performing at the pocket park, the Dusty Rose Band playing at the KHMA facility, and South Down Main performing at the HUB.  Also, many people posed for pictures at the eclipse mural on the side of Elm Street Marketplace.
