Summer food program May 28-Aug. 2

TEXARKANA –  May 28^th – August 2^nd. This summer, children can enjoy FREE lunches through the Summer Feeding Program, sponsored by Harvest Regional Food Bank and open to all kids ages 1‐18 years. No applications are necessary to drop in and all children and teens are welcome.

The Summer Feeding Program makes sure all children can eat healthy food during the summer months when they cannot eat at school.   Approximately one in five children in Arkansas are food insecure, meaning they have limited or uncertain access to safe and nutritious food. Children who are hungry or food insecure are more likely to be in poor health and less likely to develop physically, mentally and emotionally.

Bowie County Meals will be provided to the following sites:

·       Beverly Community Center, 901 Lumpkin St, Texarkana, TX 75501

Feeding Lunch – Monday – Thursday 11am – 1pm

Starting & Ending: May 28th – August 2^nd

No meals will be served July 4th

·       First Baptist-Redwater, 105 Redwater East, Redwater, TX 75573

Feeding Lunch – Grab-N-Go & Hot Meals: Monday – Thursday 11:30am – 1pm

Starting & Ending: May 20^th – Aug 1^st

No meals will be served May 27^th and July 3^rd & 4^th

Miller County Meals will be provided to the following sites:

·       Life House Church, 915 East St. Texarkana, AR 71854

Feeding Lunch – Hot Meals: Monday – Friday 11am – 1pm

Starting & Ending: May 28th – August 2^nd

No meals will be served July 4th

Columbia County Meals will be provided to the following sites:

·       Emerson Community Outreach, 107 Kelly St. Emerson, AR 71740

Feeding Lunch – Grab-N-Go Meals – Monday – Friday   11am – 1pm

Starting & Ending: May 28th – August 2nd

No meals will be served July 4^th

Lafayette County Meals will be provided to the following sites:

•     Bradley UMC, 103 N Pitot St, Bradley, AR 71827

Feeding Lunch – Grab-N-Go Meals – Monday – Friday   11am – 1pm

Starting & Ending: May 28^th – August 2^nd

No meals will be served July 4^th

Nevada County Meals will be provided at the site and times as follows:

•     Prescott/Nevada County Library, 121 West Main St, Prescott, AR 71857

Feeding Lunch – Grab-N-Go Meals – Tuesday – Friday 11am – 2pm

Starting & Ending: May 28th – August 2^nd

No meals will be served July 4th
