Cereal drive successful

PRESCOTT – In order to help the Nevada County Retired School Employees Association conducted a cereal drive – a successful one.

The items collected will be donated to Food Share in Prescott and The Call. In all, around 400 boxes of cereal were donated.

Food Share in Prescott offers food to area families who are in need.  The Call is an agency that supports foster families in Hempstead and Nevada County.  Both agencies said cereal donations would be greatly appreciated.  With schools being out, and children being at home for the summer, we felt like this is one way we could support our local community.  After all, our group has a heart for our children.
