Nevada County crash kills 1 injures 4

PRESCOTT – One person is dead and four injured in a one vehicle crash this morning (7/8) at the 50.5-mile marker of Interstate 30 near Prescott in Nevada County. According to the preliminary report from the Arkansas State Police, a 2017 Nissan Pathfinder was traveling east on I-30 when it veered into the median and struck a tree.

The driver was identified as Marco Aldana, 34, of Seagoville, TX. One minor was killed and three injured. The state police does not release the names of minors involved in accidents.

The road was wet at the time. The injured were taken to Arkansas Children’s Hospital and Baptist Hospital. Corporal Kyle D. Reed of the State Police investigated. The crash happened at 9:10 am.
