Sherri Ford Selected as New Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration at the University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana

Sherri Ford was recently selected as the new Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration at the University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana (UAHT). Ford will replace Cheryl Shaw, who will retire in September.

Ford is a native of Hope, Arkansas, and a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. She has an extensive background in accounting that spans over twenty-seven years. Before joining the UAHT team, she spent two years with a plastics manufacturing company based in Pennsylvania and twenty-two years with a food manufacturing company based in Arkansas.

“I am extremely humbled and honored to have the opportunity to be a part of the UAHT team; to work alongside all the talented individuals at the college,” Ford said. “I look forward to learning about all things UAHT, getting involved in campus activities, and being a part of something far bigger than I dreamed.”

Sherri and her husband, Mark, live in the Hope area with their two children, Charles and Kenzie. Charles earned his Associate of Arts degree at UAHT through the Hope Collegiate Academy and will attend the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville this fall. Kenzie is currently a middle school student.
