Mark Gunter Wins Songwriting Contest at Music in the Park, Kathy & Liz Woll Take 2nd Place

Some amazing talented folks live in the area! Last night we had a great time at Historic Washington State Park’s Music in the Park event. As part of the celebration of the 200th birthday of Washington, Arkansas a competition was held for the best original songs about Washington! The winners were: 1st Place $500— Mark Gunter of Hope, 2nd Place $300— Kathy and Liz Woll of Blevins, 3rd Place $200— Mark Keith of Hope, and Honorable Mention $100— Jerome Underwood of Hope!!!
