Hope Watermelon Festival Jr. Olympics Saturday

HOPE – The Hope Watermelon Festival Junior Olympics Saturday included a potato sack race, ring toss, egg race, and melon run. A number of competitors tied at 18 points and so there was a final race to determine the final winners.

In the tie breaking race Misako Hunt took first with 6 points, Hartley Bane second with 5, and Beckett Spivey third with 4 points awarded.

With the challenge of staying upright in the potato sack race, keeping the ball between the legs in the melon run and not dropping the egg it was a fun competition to watch.
