Arkansas State Broadband Office to host town hall meeting

LITTLE ROCK – The Arkansas State Broadband Office (ARConnect) will be hosting a broadband town hall meeting this Saturday, August 24th at 10:00 am. Go to the ARConnect Facebook to register and the location will be provided.

 

ARConnect will present the latest updates and information regarding the next round of broadband infrastructure grants, including immediate action items for local officials. The grant application period is currently projected to open in late September.

 

State, county, and local elected officials, as well as county broadband committee members, business owners, nonprofits, and interested residents are encouraged to attend. Everyone is invited and welcome.

 

At each town hall meeting, State Broadband Director Glen Howie will present the latest updates and information and then conduct a comprehensive question and answer session. ARConnect staff will also be on hand to assist residents with using and understanding the new Arkansas State Broadband Map.
