Deacon Pearl (Sonny) Henry
Deacon Pearl (Sonny) Henry was born March 2, 1943, in Willisville, Arkansas, to the parentage of the late Curtis and Della Mae (Oliver) Henry. He was also preceded in death by his son, Curtis Trimble and sister, Brady Lee (Henry) Blake.
Deacon Henry leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife Gertrude of fifty-four years; Two daughters, Vernessa Locke (Willie), of Independence, Missouri, and Youlanda Osborne of Wake Village, Texas; One son, Curtis Bernard Henry (Shawn) of Dallas, Texas; One twin sister, Merle Collins of Fort Worth, Texas; Grandchildren: Tonard Griffin, Tiffany Henry Todd, Jaylon Hill, Blake Carrington, and Dominique Henry; Great grandchildren, Tia Griffin, Terez Griffin, Hiawitha Hurd, Jr., and Amaia Wilson, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Celebration of Life services will be held Friday, August 23rd, 2024, at R.L. Reed Funeral Home Chapel in Magnolia, Arkansas at 1:00 p.m., with interment to follow at St. Peter Cemetery in Willisville, Arkansas, under the direction of R.L. Reed Funeral Home, LLC. Minister Quinton Moss, Eulogist.
A visitation will be held Thursday {Aug. 22nd}, from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m., at R.L. Reed Funeral Home in Magnolia.
