Troop 5 camps at DeGray Lake

DEGRAY LAKE – Hope’s Scout Troop 5 went camping at the DeGray Lake Scout Reservation recently.
Activities included swimming, tubing, water boarding, skiing, and personal
watercraft riding. Ski boats were provided by Ed Flagg and Walker Flowers.
The Seadoo was brought by Billy Lafferty. A great time was had by all. The
weather was not very hot, and a breeze made the beach a pleasant place to be.
Cub Scout Pack 5 came as guests and joined in the fun. Troop mascots
Scout, Elvis, and Ruger had a great doggy campout.
Food was prepared by the Scouts and Donnie Golden. Chicken was provided by
Tyson Foods. Pork loin and ribs provided by Dr. Lester Sitzes.
