The city of Blevins has renamed Hilltop Street in honor of former Mayor Paul Choate and his wife Pamela. The Choates moved to Blevins in 1965. Mayor Choate was also a minister and started the Word of Faith church in Blevins on March 17th, 1982. Mayor Choate passed away in August of 2005. Mrs. Choate was delighted with the honor.
