FREE brucellosis vaccination day October 7th

HOPE/PRESCOTT – Hempstead and Nevada County Extension are teaming up with the Arkansas Livestock and Poultry Division to offer a FREE brucellosis vaccination day on October 7th. If you have heifer calves ages 4-12 months, vaccination against brucellosis, also known as Bangs disease, is recommended.

Call either office to schedule a time for us to come to your place and get your calves vaccinated. We will need to know the number you are having vaxed, a good address or directions to your pen, and you will need a sturdy pen with a head chute.
