Johnny Morrison

Johnny Edward Morrison, affectionately known as “#1 Killa Fly,” was born on December 13, 1957, in Nashville, Arkansas, to Johnny Keel Sr. and Reola Morrison. A graduate of Nashville High School, Johnny was renowned for his hard work, kind heart, and the phrase “Keep it to Yourself!”

Johnny’s dedication to his community was evident through his many years of service at the Nashville School District. In addition to his service at the school, Johnny was well-known for spending many years hauling hay alongside his family and friends.

At the age of 66, Johnny passed away peacefully on September 9, 2024, in Texarkana, Texas. He was a beloved brother, uncle, and friend, always willing to lend a helping hand. May he rest in eternal peace.

Johnny was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Keel Sr., and nephew, Justin Stuart.

He is survived by his mother, Reola Morrison of Clow, AR; seven sisters, Nadine Morrison of Clow, AR, Mary Harris of Nashville, AR, Shirley Morrison of Texarkana, TX, Bonnie Cunningham of Texarkana, AR, Ellen Morrison of Clow, AR, Barbara Coulter of Texarkana, TX, and Patricia Keel of Nashville, AR; two brothers, Malcolm Coulter of Clow, AR and Johnny Ray Newton of Nashville, AR; numerous nephews, nieces, and many friends; and his very best friend, Betty Ruth Jordan.
