Bobcats fall to Ashdown Friday night

ASHDOWN – The Hope Bobcats fell 26-14 to the Ashdown Panthers in Friday night high school football action.

Even if they lost, Hope’s defense still kept up the pressure with four sacks. Ashdown’s QB won’t forget Christian Matlock anytime soon given he sacked him three times.

Hope’s loss dropped their record down to 0-2. Hope will travel to Prescott this Friday night.

Coach Turner reported Zyun Brown had 11 carries, 42 yards, 2 touchdowns, Tray Gomer had 14 carries for 77 yards, and Jaiden Brown with 2 catches for 24 yards.
