Arkansas State Archives’ Constitution Road Trip in Washington Friday

WASHINGTON – On the eve of its 150th birthday, specimen pages of the original 1874 Constitution will travel to communities across the state during the Arkansas State Archives’ Constitution Road Trip in September and October 2024. The exhibit will let visitors come face to face with handwritten pages of the foundation of Arkansas’s legal and governmental system and learn more about Arkansas’s five constitutions.
Historic Washington State Park will host the Constitution Road Trip to coincide with Frontier Days for Homeschoolers on Friday, September 20th and Frontier Days for the public on Saturday, September 21st.
