First Night of the Carnival at Southwest Arkansas District Fair

We think the last time we rode anything but a ferris wheel at the Southwest Arkansas District Fair was about 30 years ago.  That having been said, the lights of the midway always make our heart beat a little faster as we remember how much we loved riding the rides 45 and 50 years ago.  Terri Perkins shared some lovely pictures from the first night of the fair with us and we thought you might remember how exciting the fair is to the younger crowd.  Tonight is armband night between 5pm and 9pm.  Get your armbands at the fair office.  Thursday is also armband day between 4pm and 9pm.  And make plans to enjoy the Night Hawk Band Thursday in front of the coliseum and Wyatt Putman in the arena Friday at 6pm.  The full schedule can be seen at southwestarkansasdistrictlivestockshow.com.
