Hempstead County Quorum Court

Hempstead County Quorum Court met in the County courthouse on Thursday (9-26).  The JP’s were notified $300,000 had been received to repair the old Courthouse roof.

The lease agreement with Rainbow of Challenges at the old Migrant Center was discussed and approved. A juvenile grant of $5,000 was approved.

There was a discussion of the hospital transfer and lease agreement with Pafford. It is being drafted and will be sent to Pafford’s attorneys as well as the city attorney.

The budget meetings will start on October 15th.
