James “Jimmy” Autrey Wilson

James “Jimmy” Autrey Wilson, age 87, of Hope, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 in Texarkana, Texas.

Mr. Wilson was born on March 17, 1937, in Hope, Arkansas to his parents, Autrey and Jessie Lewallen Wilson. Jimmy was a loving son, brother, uncle, husband, father, and grandfather. He was a long-time member of Unity Baptist Church of Hope.

Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents; son, Randy Wilson; and brother, Jerry Wilson.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 51 years, Nancy Wilson; two children, Tessie (Greg) Baker, Stuart (Nikki) Wilson; six grandchildren, Sophie Baker, Mia Wilson, Emi Wilson, Lauren (Mike) Tolleson, Elizabeth (long term partner James) Wilson, Layne (Marissa) Wilson; one sister-in-law, Emily Wilson.

Visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home.

Graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at Memory Gardens Cemetery with Bro. Nick Flowers officiating under the direction of Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home.
