Bless the Badges Honors First Responders

“Bless the Badges” was held Saturday (10-5) at Fair Park in Hope.  The effort was to honor all first responders in Hempstead and Lafayette County.  This included city police, county deputies, jail personnel, city and volunteer firefighters, state troopers, state highway police, EMT’s, and AGFC personnel.  Those attending were fed a good meal and also got to take part in a timed shopping spree to choose new merchandise.  The event was held to say “Thank You” to first responders in Hempstead and Lafayette County.
