María Evelia (Veliz) was born on April 12, 1975, in La Paz, San Luis Potosí, to parents Rogelio Ramírez and Beatriz Díaz, who preceded her in death.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, José Ángel Torres; her sons, José Salvador Torres and Roy Alejandro Torres; her brothers and sisters, María Cristina Ramírez, Silvia Ramírez, Víctor Eduardo Ramírez, and José Salvador Ramírez; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
