Shelia Ballard New Addition to Nevada County Extension Office

Shelia Ballard has recently joined the staff of the Extension office in Nevada County.  While a new face to some, she has been in the area for many years working with Historic Washington State Park for 12 years and volunteering with the Extension Service for 25. Her specialty is Life Skills and Wellness. This includes anything related to Health and Wellness, personal finance, parenting and childcare.

Ballard received a degree from Henderson in this field.

Ballard was originally from the San Fernando Valley and went to High School in Northern California. She has three children two of whom work at Historic Washington State Park and her husband is a pastor in South Carolina.

Dana Foster, from Rosston will also be joining the Nevada County Extension team and working in 4H.
