Waldo Man Arrested On Charges of Child Rape and Kidnapping

On the 19th day of October 2024, The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call on a possible kidnapping and rape incident that occurred in the area of Columbia Road 60 and 41. Sheriff Martin and deputies responded and were able to obtain witness statements and a tag number of a vehicle involved. There were two juvenile victims involved and an eyewitness that gave accurate descriptions of the vehicle involved and were able to give an accurate description of the suspect. Sheriff Martin and Deputies responded to a nearby address of the suspect. The Arkansas State Police and its K9 unit assisted in a search for the suspect after he fled in the woods. Sheriff Martin was able to identify the suspect as Brock Davis (44) of Waldo Arkansas. An intensive search was conducted in the area for Davis into the darkness of night. The search team was able to locate Brock Davis in the woods and he was taken into custody. Brock was then taken to the Magnolia Regional Medical Center for treatment and then taken to The Columbia County Detention Facility for booking. Brock Davis is held with no bond after being charged with Child Rape and Kidnapping.
