Jack Daniels Family Brings Program to Lions on Miracle Farms

The Hope Lions heard an outstanding program about Miracle Farms from Jack Daniels and his family.  The Daniels farm is known as “Miracle Farms”.  They are a 3rd generation family farm.  The Daniels raise grass-fed beef, grass-fed lamb, free range eggs, raw Jersey milk, homemade jellies and jams, local honey, and all kinds of produce.  Jack says they have a local “co-op” of farmers around Bodcaw that raise all kinds of produce that is sold at Miracle Farms.  Jack’s family raise purple hull peas, sweet corn, and watermelons on their farm.  The market season is Saturdays from 8am until 1pm during May, June, and July.  They are open year- round by appointment and keep their beef stocked in their freezers.

Jack and his family have hosted a number of concerts both in Hope at Hempstead Hall and other venues.  Some of the acts they’ve brought to the area include the Gaither Vocal Band, Shenendoah, the Quebe Sisters, and Gordon Mote.  He noted their yearly sponsors help with all their events.  Their sponsors included Farmers Bank & Trust, Farm Credit Services, Bryce Montgomery, Pafford, Bank OZK, and First National Bank of Tom Bean.

Miracle Farms offers their “Fall Family Fun Days”.  They have been doing this for ten years at their farm in Bodcaw.  This event is held every Saturday in October.  They also host field trips from schools from as far away as Texarkana and El Dorado.

The Daniels family held their first “Holiday Trial of LIghts Hayride” last December.  They will do this next month on December 6th, 7th, 13th, 14th, 20th, and 21st.  They will also offer a special Sunday night event for churches on December 15th with a special concert from 5:30pm until 6:30pm and then hayrides will begin.  Jack says the hayride trail of lights has everything from Frosty the Snowman to the Grinch but the hayride ends with a gospel message and live nativity.

Jack noted volunteers are crucial to what they do and he noted their contribution and noted they can take some more volunteers if anyone is interested.

Jack also added they sell their grass-fed beef nationwide via their website at miraclefarmsmarket.com.  More info can also be found on facebook at Miracle Farms Market.

After fielding questions one of the Lions asked the family for a song.  Jack graciously played the out-of-tune piano in the meeting room and the family gave an outstanding, impromptu version of the Cathedrals Quartet song “Who Can Do Anything”.

The picture shows Jack and his wife sonny along with children Katie, Charlotte, A.J. and Maggie and Katie’s husband Bryce Montgomery.  Also in the photo is Lion Mary Hughes who introduced the Daniels.

Miracle Farms is officially located at 659 Nevada 15, Rosston, Arkansas.  Most of us know that area as Bodcaw.  Jack noted Miracle Farms is not located in “downtown Bodcaw…but it’s on the bypass!”.
