Neither the chill of fall nor misty rain could stop the veterans of Hope and Hempstead County from having a parade celebrating their service to their country. Don Ruggles and Barbara Cooper served as grand marshals. The weather is expected to be better Monday at 11am for the Veterans Day program at the old Hempstead County Courthouse.
