Depot Museum to host Murder Mystery Dinner in historic Prescott, Arkansas
PRESCOTT – The Nevada County Depot Museum and co-host J.D. & Billy Hines Trucking Company, invite you to an evening of fun, food, and MURDER on Friday, December 13 beginning at 6 pm. This year’s murder mystery theme is the Old West and the hosts have picked a perfect place at A Venue for You on Ozan Avenue in Historic Prescott, Arkansas! What is a murder mystery dinner? Guests are assigned a character and help act out a mystery, then collect clues to try to solve the mystery. There will be great food and a chance to win Best Costume, Best Actor, and Best Detective. Tickets go on sale November 16 at TheDepotMuseum.org/Events.
“A Wild West Murder Mystery” is the latest murder mystery dinner hosted by the Nevada County Depot Museum. Set in the fictional town of Gravestone, this game involves a challenging mystery acted out and solved by guests. Characters will be assigned to guests after purchasing a ticket, but participants won’t know if they are the victim or murderer until they arrive. Each character will also have a part to play in revealing clues, setting the stage for shocking twists, or working with fellow guests to collect evidence.
“Half the fun is not knowing until you arrive if your character survives the night,” adds Depot Museum Director, Jamie Simmons. “Not everyone can be the victim, but everyone is a suspect!”
This event is co-hosted by J.D. & Billy Hines Trucking and sponsored by PSE Effect, Inc., both of Prescott, Arkansas. Tickets must be purchased in advance. Individual tickets are $55 for Sleuth tickets and $60 for Character tickets. Deadline for tickets is December 8.
This event benefits The Nevada County Depot Museum, located in the 1912 Missouri Pacific Depot in historic Prescott, Arkansas. The Depot is open for tours and programs Thursdays through Saturdays, all year long. For more information, email TheDepotMuseum@gmail.com or visit TheDepotMuseum.org/Events.
