Brandon Jewvel Evans, Sr.

July 16, 1986 – November 7, 2024

Mr. Brandon J. Evans, Sr., 38, of Rosston, Arkansas, passed away in Prescott, Arkansas, on the evening of November 7, 2024.   Brandon was a young man who loved his children, life and lived it to the fullest every day.  He had a special place in his heart for his parents, he was a Christian from an early age as a member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Rosston, Arkansas.

He was born to Mr. Jewel Evans and Ms. Emily Patrice Johnson-Evans both of Rosston, Arkansas on July 16, 1986, in Camden, Arkansas.  He was an only child and was the light of both of his parents’ lives.  He was preceded in death by both sets of his grandparents.

He is survived by both of his parents, Mr. Jewel Evans and Ms. Patrice Johnson-Evans, both of Rosston, Arkansas.  His only son and only daughter, Brandon Jewvel Evans, Jr, and Gabrielle Nicole Evans both of Rosston, Arkansas.  A very special aunt who was served as his second mom, Ms. Yvonne Gulley and was instrumental in his formative years.  Some special cousins, Demeko Parrish, Dwight Johnson, Jr, DeQuana Del Carmen, LaToya Tidwell, and Kristen Williams.  A host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and former co-workers.

Brandon was a proud graduate of Nevada High School, Home of the Bluejays, Class of 2004, and was an employee of Holcim (Firestone) Prescott, Arkansas.  He really loved and enjoyed spending time with his children, his family, watching football and basketball and often called his uncle to carry his children fishing.  He was said to have been very active as a child and was not afraid to do or try anything.

His service will be held at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church; 1530 Arkansas 200; Rosston, Arkansas 71858, where Pastor L. C. Gilliam will serve as Officiant and Minister Greg Gulley will serve as the Eulogist, under the direction of Hamilton-Davis Funeral Home Staff, Saturday November 16, 2024.  There will be a public visitation at Hamilton-Davis Funeral Home; 415 East First Street, Stamps, Arkansas 71860.  Interment will be at New Salem Cemetery, Highway 278 East, Rosston, Arkansas, 71858, immediately following the service on Saturday.
