Mr. Thomas “Tommy” Sinclair-Updated

Mr. Thomas “Tommy” Sinclair, 75, of Hope, Arkansas passed away Monday, November 12, 2024.

Tommy was born February 21, 1949, in Hope, AR to Lafayette and Mary Collins Sinclair. Tommy aka “Tomcat” got his nickname from roaming the halls late at night at Heather Manor Nursing Home and taking snacks from the cafeteria to give to the women residents. He enjoyed listening to all types of music, fishing, and getting together with family and friends for meals.

Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, brother Jimmy Sinclair, two sisters Naomi Simmons and Melba Whatley, nieces Diane Sinclair, Marilyn Fincher, Barbara Gray, Teresa Whatley, nephew Kenneth Fincher, DeVoyt Whatley and Lil Jim Sinclair.

Survivors include nephews Jon Simmons, Johnny Whatley, Jeff Gray (Vicki) and Roy Whatley (Lindsey); nieces Jamie Simmons, Patti Reich (Jerry), Sheri Taylor (Steve), Sandi Ordonez (Ish); numerous great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, great-great-great nieces and nephews and many cousins.

The family would like to thank several people in the community for bringing food, giving rides, and for watching out for his safety, the ladies at the bank for helping him and also a thank you to the staff at Heather Manor Nursing Home.

Visitation is scheduled 1:00pm Thursday, November 14, 2024, at Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home in Hope.

Funeral service will follow at 2:00pm in the chapel, with Bro. Lane Garner officiating.

Interment following at Anderson Cemetery, under the direction of Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Homes-Hope.
