Emmet annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony

EMMET – Emmet held their annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony Saturday. The event started with Mayor Dale Booker speaking, prayers from different local pastors, a guitarist playing for a Christmas sing along. Deanna Allen from the Emmet Vision Association spoke acknowledging the efforts of the mayor and his long service (30 years), the Council Members of which two were present, EVA, the City Reporter, the Fire Department and Juan Aparaceio (25 years) for his long service. There was a lighted walk of remembrance, letters to Santa, reindeer food, hot chocolate and cookies and a movie.
