,
This gift will pay for an interpretive brochure for Prairie D’Ane including a map for a self-guided tour. It makes the prairie much more user-friendly allowing visitors to enjoy it at their own pace and enjoy the history without having to request a personal guide.
Simmons talked about it allowing the museum to further its mission of historic preservation. The museum is in the process of prairie restoration. There will be biking trails and interpretive panels.
