Wilma Louise Cox

Wilma Louise Cox, 86, of Hope, AR passed away Friday, December 20, 2024 at her home surrounded by family.

She was born June 16, 1938, in Houston, TX to Clifton and Stella Hillhouse. Wilma and her husband (Carroll) enjoyed going to the boats to gamble. She loved to cook, work in her yard and spend time with her family.

Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Carroll Cox, and two brothers Bill Hillhouse and Bud Hillhouse.

Survivors include her two sons, Donald Cox (Tammy) and David Cox (Kathy); three daughters, Carolyn Ellis, Sherry Lopez, and Debbie Haling; eleven grandchildren, Brandy, Ashley, Dayton, Erik, Hillary, Kelly, Rick, Rebecca, Chris, Stephen, and Kayla; many bonus children, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held 1:00pm-1:45pm Monday, December 23, 2024, at Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home. Graveside Services immediately following at Memory Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Dan Ford officiating, under the direction of Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home.
